Dr. Rinicker is a licensed and nationally board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a PhD in nursing science. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Abilene Christian University in 2009. In 2011, she graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing degree from Lubbock Christian University. In 2016, she graduated with a PhD in Nursing from the University of Texas at Tyler.
In 2018, Dr. Rinicker completed a psychiatric preceptorship at the Big Spring State Hospital. In 2019, she completed another psychiatric preceptorship and worked under psychiatrists at the Oceans Behavioral Hospital in Abilene, TX. She also completed preceptorships at the Big Country Mental Health Clinic and the Serenity House in Abilene, Texas. She completed a post-graduate psychiatric nurse practitioner certification program at Midwestern State University.
As a licensed and board-certified provider, Dr. Rinicker received advanced education and specific training to provide psychiatric and mental health treatment to people struggling with psychiatric disorders. She provides comprehensive psychiatric assessment and evaluations. She diagnoses mental health/psychiatric disorders. She develops personalized treatment plans with individuals and family members. She also prescribes individualized medications, provides detail education, and monitors the side effects of psychiatric medications. She can also provide counseling and is in the process of receiving her EMDR certification from the EMDR International Association.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family. She also has a pet Peruvian guinea pig. She enjoys reading and hiking.
